Buck<\/strong> (biografi)<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;<em>The root of the word Badaliya in Arabic, means to replace or exchange one thing for another. The French scholar and spiritual seeker, Louis Massignon (1883 1962), interpreted the word as a willingness to put oneself in the place of another, to give one s own life for the sake of someone else. This offering of himself for the well-being of his Muslim brothers and sisters was the inspiration for Massignon s entire life. Aldrig tidigare hade s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga m\u00e4nniskor varit p\u00e5 flykt i v\u00e4rlden. 2015 var ocks\u00e5 det \u00e5r d\u00e5 rekordm\u00e5nga flyktingar kom till Europa. Till Sveriges nordliga breddgrader tog sig \u00f6ver 160 000 personer. Detta innebar en stor utmaning f\u00f6r svenska myndigheter. Men det offentliga fick hj\u00e4lp fr\u00e5n civilsamh\u00e4llet. Organisationer, f\u00f6reningar, f\u00f6rsamlingar, tillf\u00e4lliga n\u00e4tverk och enskilda m\u00e4nniskor engagerade sig i mottagandet av flyktingarna. F\u00f6r trossamfunden \u00e4r det sociala arbetet f\u00f6r flyktingar en lika central som omistlig del av verksamheten. S\u00e5 har det varit l\u00e4nge men det syntes tydligt under h\u00f6sten 2015 d\u00e5 kyrkor, mosk\u00e9er eller andra gudstj\u00e4nstlokaler ofta blev samlingspunkter f\u00f6r de akuta mottagningsinsatserna. Hit kom flyktingar f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 en natts s\u00f6mn, ett m\u00e5l mat och varma kl\u00e4der. Reportageboken Trossamfunden och flyktingarna \u00e4r ett f\u00f6rs\u00f6k att ge en inblick i denna verklighet. Det \u00e4r inte en utv\u00e4rdering eller en kritisk granskning av vad samfunden g\u00f6r, utan tio korta nedslag p\u00e5 olika platser i Sverige.
