Ig\u00e5r kv\u00e4ll\u00a0var det dags att kora\u00a0vinnarna vid \u00e5rets Barn- och Ungdomsfilmfestival\u00a0i ett v\u00e5rligt Malm\u00f6. Som vanligt h\u00e5ller vi till i R\u00e5dhuset, men denna g\u00e5ng i den tjusiga \u00f6vre salen.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Pigga Christian Hallman och Elin Kamlert (nya ledamoter i BUFFs styrelse) leder oss genom galan. Det \u00e4r\u00a029 upplagan i \u00e5r och det m\u00e4rks att BUFF \u00e4r p\u00e5 v\u00e4g att etablera sig som en de stora internationella festivalerna f\u00f6r barn och unga.<\/div>\n

Och vem vann d\u00e5? Jo det blev\u00a0franskspr\u00e5kigt\u00a0i \u00e5r. Svenska kyrkans ungdomfilmpris gick till The giants <\/a>(Les g\u00e9ants, <\/em>Belgien\/Frankrike\/Luxenburg 2011), i regi av belgaren Bouli Lanners.<\/div>\n

Filmen handlar om tre ton\u00e5rskillar som tillbringar en sommar tillsammans utan f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar.<\/div>\n

”Med ett magnifikt foto och ett imponerande samspel ber\u00e4ttar The Giants<\/em> en bitterljuv saga om tre \u00f6verlevare. Vi dras in i ett gr\u00e4nsl\u00f6st landskap d\u00e4r pojkarnas \u00e4ventyr skildras med f\u00f6rdomsfri kreativitet och humor, utan vuxnas pekpinnar. Resultatet \u00e4r en smittande k\u00e4nsla av befrielse och tilltro till det som \u00e4r v\u00e4rdefullt i livet!”<\/p>\n

Hinner se filmen p\u00e5 eftermiddagen och det \u00e4r bara att h\u00e5lla med. Vet inte om jag n\u00e5gonsin sett en s\u00e5 vacker ungdomsfilm.<\/p>\n

Regiss\u00f6ren g\u00f6r verkligen n\u00e5got nytt med v\u00e4lk\u00e4nda element som de fr\u00e5nvarande f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrarna och killar\u00a0p\u00e5 uppt\u00e4cksf\u00e4rd. Det blir en modern saga\u00a0om livet. Med\u00a0sj\u00e4lva existensen i centrum.<\/p>\n

Extra kul att \u00e4ven Ungdomsjuryn (klass I 8 fr\u00e5n Lindeborgsskolan) valde denna film. Vittnar om att filmen har ett tilltal som fungerar f\u00f6r dem som den \u00e4r till f\u00f6r: ungdomar.<\/p>\n

Bouli Lanners <\/p><\/div>\n

H\u00e4lsning fr\u00e5n regiss\u00f6ren<\/strong><\/p>\n

Regiss\u00f6ren Bouli Lanners\u00a0kunde tyv\u00e4rr inte komma\u00a0och ta emot sina tv\u00e5 priser.\u00a0Det blev ist\u00e4llet belgiska BUFFpraktikanten Tineke Thielman som fick ta emot priset i hans st\u00e4lle.<\/p>\n

I sitt tackmail h\u00e4lsar han att Belgien har landssorg efter den sv\u00e5ra olyckan i veckan och att allas tankar finns d\u00e4r. Men att priset till en film om barn som \u00f6verlevare sk\u00e4nker en strimma ljus.<\/p>\n

\u00d6ppning mot o\u00e4ndligheten<\/strong><\/p>\n

Biskop Antje Jackel\u00e9n delade i vanlig ordning ut Svenska kyrkans pris. Ur juryns motivering f\u00e5ngar hon upp tanken att\u00a0filmen\u00a0drar in oss i ett ”gr\u00e4nsl\u00f6st landskap”, mot det o\u00e4ndliga. D\u00e4r har vi en gemensam str\u00e4van, i kyrka och kulturliv. Som h\u00e4lsning till regiss\u00f6ren uttryckte biskopen\u00a0ocks\u00e5 sitt och v\u00e5rt deltagande i sorgen efter olyckan.<\/p>\n

Och de andra priserna?\u00a0\u00a0Malm\u00f6 stads pris f\u00f6r b\u00e4sta barnfilm gick till den svenska Isdraken<\/a> <\/em>(2012) i regi av Martin H\u00f6gdal, som ocks\u00e5 var nominerad till kyrkans filmpris i G\u00f6teborg i februari.\u00a0 ECFA Award f\u00f6r b\u00e4sta europeiska film gick till nederl\u00e4ndska\u00a0Taking Chances <\/a><\/em>(2011).<\/p>\n
