\"words<\/a>Under Venedigs filmfestival presenterades utom t\u00e4vlan en film som handlade om religion. Filmen \u201dWords With Gods\u201d (2014) har samlat 9 regiss\u00f6rer fr\u00e5n olika delar av v\u00e4rlden till ett kollage som utforskar m\u00e4nniskans utsatthet och hur hennes utsatthet speglas, gestaltas och h\u00e4rb\u00e4rgeras av religion och kultur. Producenten Guillermo Ariaga har utvecklat id\u00e9n och samlat regiss\u00f6rer som skildrat olika religi\u00f6sa traditioner; shamanistisk andlighet, brasiliansk ubanda, hinduism, shintoism och buddhism, judendom, katolicism, ortodox kristendom, islam och till och med ateism.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Det olika kortfilmerna \u00e4r samtliga av h\u00f6g konstn\u00e4rlig kvalitet och utg\u00f6r sm\u00e5 ber\u00e4ttelsekapitel som vart och ett skulle l\u00e4mpa sig mycket bra f\u00f6r samtal och reflektion utifr\u00e5n varje statement. Vissa historier \u00e4r humoristiska som den utifr\u00e5n islam, andra behandlar med stor profetisk sk\u00e4rpa v\u00e4rldens och samh\u00e4llets tillst\u00e5nd, som det israeliska bidraget fr\u00e5n Amos Gitai som med knivskarp tydlighet ifr\u00e5gas\u00e4tter militarismen i det egna landet utifr\u00e5n bibliska profettexter. Bidraget om bek\u00e4nnelsens betydelse i katolsk tradition i ett spansk bidrag tillh\u00f6r ett bildber\u00e4ttande som p\u00e5 kort tid lyckas bygga en stor och historia med drastiska djup.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Den h\u00e4r filmen \u00e4r ovanlig genom att explicit och respektfullt behandla religion i dagens v\u00e4rld och att ber\u00e4ttelserna h\u00e4mtas fr\u00e5n levande religi\u00f6sa traditioner som till\u00e5ter m\u00e5nga olika autentiska f\u00f6rh\u00e5llningss\u00e4tt till religion. Den skulle ocks\u00e5 kunna fungera som ett komplement till skol- och konfirmandundervisning. Med hj\u00e4lp av filmmediets symboliska och visuella potential f\u00e5ngar Guillermo Arriaga i filmprojektet \u201dWords With Gods\u201d fenomenet religion p\u00e5 ett b\u00e5de seri\u00f6st och inbjudande s\u00e4tt. Behovet av att samtala och diskutera flera av de nio bidragen \u00e4r p\u00e5fallande och m\u00e5nga scener inbjuder till dialog om vad vi menar med begreppet \u2019Gud\u2019 \u00f6verhuvudtaget, inte minst det ateistiska bidraget.<\/p>\n
